 Whetu Fun Day

Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.

My favourite part of the Amazing Race was when we had to crack the code at the end to finish. The code name is what happened when the egg laughed he cracked up that was my favourite part of the Amazing Race and the netball where we decided to do the over and under and mum said TK, shirl girl, Haven, Marley, Lola and l were the fastest kids to do it.  

The rotation I enjoyed the most was the stem challenge where my group Cullen, Franklin, TK and I had to design a dress the model was going to be TK but it ended up being Cullen he looked so weird in a dress but it was fun.   

During the Easter Egg Hunt, I found my purple Stick in a tree and got a blue Easter egg.

Week 5, Term 1, 2021

Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I did swimming sports I entered all of the races that I could enter in. I entered all but butterfly, the butterfly was the one stroke that I still learning, but I am getting better every time I do It. The emotions that I felt when mum, dad or anyone for that matter but I still got throw the day.             

We had two art sessions this week and love doing art with anyone, I just love any type of art that, gets me into the mode well the good one at lest.       

In literacy this week we have a thing that’s could book detectives my group is the magic finger purple and so far we are detectives that know how to summarise and predictor and we are just going to get better and better.         

Part of our maths programme is NumBots, I think I am making progress even throw that I an still on steal but as you go up the levels get harder.    

Week 4, Term 1, 2021

 

The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time this week is takaro when I heard that we were doing takaro I had no I dear to do me and all of my friends ( OJ Lola Haven, Marley and Shirley) but we ended up doing a game that we just invented BEANS.    

We started our art this week and I have chosen to do art with Mrs Kennedy.  Our art is going to be the best that I can be  

We created our Whetū stars on Thursday and they look amazing because I made it with Mum and Abby  

Next week we have our school swimming sports. I am feeling very very very very very very very very very excited a little bit scared. 

Week 3, Term 1, 2021

 

The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time was when we do the Whetu

challenge and dressing up it was my favourite part of the day besides Orewa being the best. 💙        

The most fun thing that I have done at a play or lunchtime this year is playing crocodile on the big 

blue it was the best part of the day to chose how is in we do blue foot and that way everyone has 

a turn at being in and that it is not the same person again and again and a again.                         

One word that describes learning in Whetu unique fun creative. 

Something I am looking forward to is doing swimming sports it is the one thing that these fat feet 

are good at, besides making my shoes small.      

Case Closed

 On Saturday 10th October miss Taaffe came into the Whetu team to get a DMI because hir DMI is missing.

Mrs Taaffe opened the door and walked in she took the chocolates and took the DMI and ran.

 When she got to the door she was supposed to open the door but instead, she hit the glass, and got a cut on the rise and ran off fast.

And then she confessed that she did it.

 and last but not least code 4 and 5 code 4 was the easiest all it said was  good job  and that was the same for code 5 but it said you are now a code master

 In code 1 the message said do you want to solve a mystery  and I would answer back yes that got me into solving it

T.V. Athletics Results

 T.V.A.R (Thams Valley Athletics Results) I got into T.V. and for more than one thing I got in for 3 things discus 1500m and 1 other thing that I can't remember.
